DRILUBE® products containing molybdenum disulfide

DRILUBE® products containing molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) are produced using highly pure (99.99%) molybdenum disulfide. The molecular structure of molybdenum disulfide is a stratified lattice. In each stratum, one molybdenum atom is sandwiched between two sulfur atoms. The molybdenum atoms bond tightly to the sulfur atoms, while the sulfur atoms bond lightly with each other. This weak shear stress creates excellent lubrication properties and greatly reduces friction.
DRILUBE® products containing molybdenum disulfide reduce the coefficient of friction, provide stable lubrication performance even under severe conditions, and prevent running gear from seizing up due to heat generated by friction.
